Sustainability discourse after 2015 got several interpretations, among which Doughnut idea still is relatively unknown in Ukraine. Challenges of war and vectors of post-war recovery raise the issue of better acknowledgment of it and its implications, inspiring the search for testing the cases and benchmarking recovery framework for Ukraine. The integrative capabilities of geographical knowledge and the analytical capacity of modern applied geospatial and contextual analysis tools can substantiate the Doughnut glocalization model for urban planning. At the same time, additional research on critique and the feasibility of applying the Doughnut model can serve as a more reasonable discourse in academic and applied aspects focused on selecting indicators and parameters for the analysis.
